Samm Jenny is a New York City–based actress, singer, and director whose work spans theatre, film, and live music. Trained in acting, directing, and psychology, she brings emotional intelligence, vocal versatility, and grounded specificity to her performances both onstage and on screen.
​
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts and Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College and has performed principal roles in Off-Broadway productions, independent film projects, and a wide range of live performance settings. As a vocalist, Samm has performed with bands across genres including pin-up trio, jazz, and rock, known for her strong mezzo-soprano voice, vintage-modern aesthetic, and commanding stage presence.

In addition to her performance career, Samm is an experienced director and educator, with several years of teaching voice and acting in both group classes and one-on-one settings. Her teaching and coaching work is informed by her professional experience as a working artist and is designed to support performers in developing technical skill, confidence, and sustainability.

She is also a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach and the creator of the 'Perform from Power' method, which integrates performance psychology, functional nutrition, and nervous system regulation to support artists pursuing long-term, balanced careers.
